Santa will be compensated from the Danish Air Force because of a dead reindeer. The Air Force admits to the death of reindeer being their fault. Each year the Danish Air Force shells out unspecified sums of money to people who's animals have died by their hands.

The Danish Air Force jet flew low enough that Cupid, one of Santa's reindeer died instantly from cardiac arrest, from the loud roar of the jet engines. Cupid was 14. Many speculate that Cupid was a heavy drug user and contributed to his untimely death. But the the Danish Air Force settled out of court instead of going to court. Several other people have fainted in lew of the fact that no one knew they had an Air Force.
