Inside the lyrics is the a random periodical on the INS where we take a song and its lyrics or a portion of the lyrics song or whatever, and talk shit about it.

And for our inaugural song, i had to choose David Banners Play, although currently the song is a little bit more than played out. There has always been one part of this song that bothered me. First off, as i know it, Mr. Banner is an educated fellow, said to be a graduate of a southern college. Like a 4 year university, not some bullshit community college. Now im not sure how old David Banner is, but as far as i can tell, he is over 24, and should fucking know better. When he says "... ill beat it like Mike / when he hit Billie Jean... " i cant help but wonder what the fuck his problem is. Nigga, you are a musician! There is no way you can not be familiar with Micheal Jackson's Billie Jean. And as i know it, it is common muthafuckin knowledge that Billie Jean was in fact not Micheal Jacksons Lover. She was just a girl, claiming that he was the one. But every one knows that Mike made that song about all the groupies that used to be all over his brothers and the rest of the famed jacksons during the height of their popularity. Every one knows Mike didnt fuck with any groupies. We all saw the ABC movie. He was busy befriending fuckin Ben the mouse out this bitch. And then later on in life as a solo artist, everybody knows the only groupies Mike showed any love to was under the age of 16 and male. People who are not "Billie Jeans". Maybe little Billy though.

So, your lyrics are a bit off there buddy. As for the rest of the song, that shit is nasty. I had no clue, today is the first time i heard the album version. Jesus Christ sir. Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Of course i say this purely in jest. One of my favorite songs of all time is 2 Live Crews "Doo Doo Brown"

Let's have a moment of silence for The Late Great Russell Jones!!!!!

That's the ODB to those not in the know (how in the FUCK did you find your way to this site if you didn't know that though!?!?!). In the great (and in some cases not so great) tradition of 2Pac, Biggie, and every other dead rapper this is a posthumous release as a guest artist.

Ladies and gentlemen this is a certified banger here. Whoever in the hell produced this song (I did a nigga-rig search and came up with zilch, so if you are knowing, fess up in the comments) did the damn thing.

If you'll recall, Busta and Dirt McGirt got together for the highly underrated Woo Hoo (Gotcha All In Check) remix way back in 1995. Their styles were similar, yet completely different, and OH SO compatible, so much so that one wondered why they didn't collabo more often. Then again we might have gotten sick of them a la Meth and Red (or maybe that's just me).

Either way, this unexpected surprise is worth the 10 year wait.

It IS kinda eerie hearing ODB saying "Next time you see me let me knoooooooooooow...". Hate to break it to you Russ, but the next time I see you one of us (or perhaps neither) will have wings and a halo nigga! Tough break! Cocaine is a helluva drug!

Anyway, obtain this track (however you do it....)

I hate when a bad song gets stuck in my head. I also hate it when an artist I like makes a bad song. So when the two come together, one would think that the hate would override any kind of positive feelings. This is just not the case with this grouping of Big Boi, Killer Mike, and whoever else Big Boi is trying to put on.

For you faithful viewers of BET Uncut (don't hide, I see you...I know who you are...I talk to a few of you bastards!) you've probably seen the video and thought it was either Prince or Cam'Ron until you heard Big Boi's voice. What's the deal with the surge in Purple Haze references? Like Jimi wasn't on it in the 60's!

So anyway about the song. Basically they are on that kryptonite, all night and all day. All day and all night, I be-I be-I be up on it...all day...all night....I-I-I-I-be on that straight up on that I be on that Kryptonite.....is it in your head yet? Not yet???? Read this paragraph one more time. I dare you!

If you live in the city limits of Atlanta of course you get a shout out! That's always fun in the club when some overzealous fat boy without a shirt decides to throw sweaty bows when he hears his street called out! You'll probably be too busy throwing your own bows to notice though. Like I said, it's infectious like Mono....I-I-I-I be on it all night all day....I-I-I- be on it straight up you can find me in the A.....

It's in your head now sucka!!!!

Nore has once again teamed up with pharrell on his latest track "Im A G". This shit here is pretty bangin, definitely a head nodder. A slower tempo track, its still club bangable ( yea im making up words ). It might be a little slow, but you can still get your drunk grind on a ugly girl to this shit ( dont act like you aint never did that shit before ), this track is also just fast enough to get a good nice slow crip walk on to, which brings me to my next point. The hook however, might entice a nigga or three to throw up their respective "sets" which might result in a fight. But then again, im from Los Angeles, and you gotta watch that kind of thing out here. As i understand it, in nearly every other part of country, that shit aint a problem. Lucky yall. Honestly, if this song is played in a club in LA with out a fight jumpin off because somebody wanted to throw up they hood, id be surprised.

As far as lyrics, Nore offers up lines such as "I stay right here like i got left back" talking about him staying true to his hood nature and being up in the streets. At first i thought he might have been talking about him being left back a couple of grades a couple of times, explaining his lack of anything compelling to say. But i was wrong.

Working with the Neptunes seems to work pretty good for Nore considering that they've produced like 98% of his hits. If this shit doesnt get a bunch of radio play and we arent all tired of it with in two months, id be fuckin surprised.

Young City has a new single out - I See Ya Lil Daddy. First of all, how old is this man? He might not be of legal drinkin age, but im sorry, there is no way in the fuck i could be over 16 and id let anybody get away with calling me "lil daddy"

As for the rest of the track, those of you with sub woofers in you car and have a thing for base will love this shit here. That is if you dont mind typical down south im balling now raps. But the beat is hittin with a constant base line that is sure to set off a car alarm or two.

The track also features Puff getting his ad-lib on as usual, this is a bad boy project after all. And we all know its not really a bad boy single if Puff aint on the track some where or at least in the video getting his perpetual groove on.

There is also a remix to this track featuring lil wayne and lil breeze who sounds just like trick daddy. And since Puff is claiming to be the father of the remix, he is screamin even more on this shit.

Overall this doesnt totally suck. But it aint overly great either.

In other news, i dont even think i could call my son lil daddy... shit just dont sound right.
